Ashok Khosla

Ashok Khosla is Chairman of the Development Alternatives Group, a consortium of social enterprises based in India whose mission is to create technologies, businesses and markets for large scale generation of sustainable livelihoods.

He is President of the Club of Rome and has been a Member of the Governing Bodies of the World Economic Forum in Davos, IUCN, WWF, IISD, the Stockholm Environment Institute, WETV and several other Indian and international organizations.

He was Special Advisor to the Brundtland Commission and Chairman of the NGO Forum at the ‘92 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro. Ashok Khosla studied at the Universities of Cambridge and Harvard. He was awarded the Stockholm Challenge Award in 2002, the UN Sasakawa Environment Prize in 2002 and the Schwab Foundation’s Award for Outstanding Social Entrepreneur in 2004.

Vanda North

Vanda North was Founder & CEO of Buzan Centres world wide, launching Tony Buzan’s work through a global network of licensed instructors for 20 years. During that time, Vanda taught mental literacy skills to over 100,000 people from 50 countries worldwide. She has been instrumental in leading and coaching over 700 instructors who have since gone on to run corporations, author books and function more successfully and enjoyably in business and life.

Her current project is Mind Chi Ltd, which aims to combat stress and burn-out in the work place. She was Founder & CEO of The Learning Consortium.

Vanda was Founder & CEO of Volunteers Upholding Education, Palm Beach County School System in Florida training 5000 volunteers and corporate members to assist in education for 12 years.

She is Past President of the International Society for Accelerated Learning & Teaching conducting their largest global educational conference. For 8 years Vanda was a leader in research, practical application and dissemination of accelerated learning methods.  She was Home Economist for Florida Power & Light Company, conducting cooking shows for thousands.  She was a lecturer for UniLever Brothers, travelling the UK as a member of the Education Unit for 4 years.  She has worked with Electronic Data Systems, IBM, Digital, Boeing, Oracle, BT., Wellcome, CLSA, Management Centre Europe, SC Johnsons, Billiton, Flo

Max Taylor

Max Taylor has an M.A. in Classics from Cambridge University, and an M. Phil. In business studies From City University, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He pioneered the use of various management techniques in designing training for young people and the long-term unemployed, carrying out a series of projects on behalf of the government. Paul Templeton

Paul Templeton is Chairman of the Board (and former headmaster) of Sotogrande International School in southern Spain.  The school is an private English-medium school with an international student body.   This is the only international school in the region offering the prestigious IB (International Baccalaureate) program.

Paul has had over 30 years experience in starting and turning around schools, colleges and universities.  He is a strong advocate of accelerated learning techniques and radically new effective teaching methods, and is working with ReadingWise to help pioneer them in Indian schools.  

He was educated at the London School of Economics, trained at Sandhurst, and is a Master Practitioner in NLP.   He is currently engaged in setting up an international network of global village schools.
